| Phillip received his mission call to Brazil on June 11th. It turns out that one of the members of our ward, Nathan Rackliffe, served in Brazil in the 90s. He and his wife invited our whole family, along with Rachel, to dinner. They had prepared Brazilian food for us, which was very good. After the meal we went into the basement where Nathan gave us a slide show on his huge flat screen TV of all his missionary pictures. He also used google earth to zoom in and move around Brazil. It was a very fun evening. |
