Day 333: On March 27th of the home improvement project the final big step
was completed. The carpet was installed in the basement by Bob and Travis.
It looks great! Joyce and I were gone from March 11th through the 24th helping Phillip, Elyse and our new grand daughter Cassidy move from Provo, Utah to Collierville, Tennessee. It was a very busy and stressful time, but everything went well. During our absence Rich and Kevin finished all the painting. Arnold Greene Electric finished the electrical work. When we got home everything was ready for this final step, installation of the carpet. As of today the house is all done! Wahoo! Huzzah! (Bands should play and fireworks should be launched!) We can move everything back into the basement now. Later this year there will be landscaping to do and a new driveway to pave. For now we'll breathe a sigh of relief and be grateful for a job well done by RPM Builders and all his sub contractors. It has been quite the journey! |
