Hello Everyone,

It has been two weeks since the last update. Stanford has an appointment for a CT scan this Tuesday,
Sept 26th. As you may remember, the Sept 8/9th treatment used different drugs (Cisplatin and
Docetaxel) targeted at carcinomas instead of sarcomas because his cancer didn't respond as expected
to the first two treatments. We anxiously hope this next CT scan will show positive results. He is
scheduled for his next chemotherapy treatment this coming Fri/Sat September 29/30th.

The week after his last treatment Stanford felt very tired and somewhat nauseous. On Thursday, Sept
14th, he started having lots of pain in his right shoulder that made him very uncomfortable and miserable.
Oxycodone only took the edge off the pain. The pain peaked Friday and went down from there. It hasn't
been much of an issue this past week. As you may remember, the doctors explained that the tumors on
top of his liver rub against the diaphragm muscle causing irritation. The pain shows up in the shoulder.

In spite of all this going on Stanford's spirits remain high and he is involved in many activities. He does
get tired and sleeps a lot more than he used to. Family life has become a lot busier since school
started, but we're settling into the routine.

Thanks for your continued thoughts and prayers,

John
