Opening studies

Depending on the contents of the MI Disc View CD, studies are opened as follows:

If...

Then...

CD contains a single study

The study opens automatically after you insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive. For details, see Starting the Quick Viewer.

CD contains multiple studies and/or studies for multiple patients

The Study list is displayed.

To open a study:

  1. Display the Study list, if it is not already displayed.
  2. Click the study you want to open.

    3. The study is displayed as follows, depending on the items it contains:

    Study contains images

    The Images page is displayed. For further details, see Viewing images.

    Note: If the study contains patient documentation and/or cine clips, the Study Navigation toolbar also consists of the Documents tab and/or the Cine Clips tab. Click any tab to display the relevant items.

    Study contains patient documentation, but no images

    The Documents page is displayed. For further details, see Viewing documentation.

    Note: If the study contains cine clips, the Study Navigation toolbar also consists of the Cine Clips tab. Click the tab to display a list of cine clips for the study.

    Study contains cine clips, but no images

    The Cine Clips page is displayed. For further details, see Viewing cine clips.

    Note: If the study also contains patient documentation, the Study Navigation toolbar also consists of the Documents tab. Click the tab to display the patient documentation associated with the study.
