Facebook page.  I have copied it below.  (I didn't remember that we shared

Myrna Christiansen Broschinsky
1937 ~ 2017

Myrna Anne Christiansen Broschinsky, 79, passed away suddenly on the
morning of January 12, 2017 in her home in Murray, Utah. She was a loyal
wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, best friend, confidante, and
teacher. She is greatly missed.

Myrna was born on March 24, 1937 in Mayfield, Utah to Ethel Swallow and Ray
Christiansen. She had two younger brothers, Ray and Lee, whom she loved
dearly. Myrna attended schools in Salt Lake and Bountiful, graduating from
Davis High School. She worked summers at Lagoon Amusement Park and there
met her future husband, George Broschinsky. Myrna graduated from the
University of Utah with a degree in Elementary Education before leaving to
serve a mission for the LDS Church. She was privileged to serve in the
Canadian Mission under the direction of President Thomas S. Monson. Myrna
and George married soon after their missions on August 11, 1961 and raised
six children. They lived first in Price and then Murray, Utah. In 1972 they
moved to Paris, France for three years; then presided over the France,
Toulouse mission from July 1975-1978.

Myrna was a beloved teacher for hundreds of elementary students, and
tutored even more. She obtained a Master's Degree in Education from USU.
She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints and served in positions in all the Church auxiliaries on Stake and
Ward levels. Myrna was a proud member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.

Preceded in death by her brother, Lee Stewart Christiansen, and her
parents. Survived by her brother, Ray (Bobbie) Christiansen. Also survived
by her husband, George; children: Michael (Korral), Wendy (Dwight) DeMann,
David (Jennifer), Steven (Jennifer), Mark (Hannah), and Karen (Manden)
McBride; 16 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandson.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at
the Little Cottonwood LDS Stake Center, 6180 So. Glenoaks, Murray, Utah,
with a viewing prior from 12:00-1:00 p.m. A viewing will also be held on
Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Jenkins- Soffe Mortuary,
4760 S. State Street, Murray, Utah.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the LDS Church Perpetual
Education Fund, or the Jordan Education Foundation.
