Hello,

I'm happy to report that Stanford returned home this evening at 8:00 PM. Last night and this morning
were very miserable for him and he was in a lot of pain. He had three morphine shots during the night to
help him deal with the pain. At 11:00 AM today he had his third CT scan in a week. His condition
started improving somewhat this afternoon. The pain was less severe and more spaced out.

The surgeon, Dr. Howe, talked with us about 6:00 PM after looking at the CT scan results. He reported
that everything looked normal and that today's scan showed an improvement from the scan a week ago in
the amount of fluid in the abdomen that built up after the surgery. He said that it is going down. He
thinks things will continue to improve and said Stanford could go home.

All cancer staging information has been sent up to Dartmouth Medical School. They will call us to
schedule an appointment hopefully sometime next week. The course of treatment for the lymphoma
cancer will be determined at that time.

So, as of now things are back on track. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.

John
