| Julia "graduated" from 8th grade today. There ceremony was at 10:00 AM, so I attended the ceremony and went to work late. It was VERY hot in the Keefe auditorium at Elm Street Middle School. Joyce and I got there before the event started, but too late to get seats. It was just as well. We stood in the back of the auditorium on the left near the emergency exit that they had open. Every now and then a breeze would blow in making it a little more bearable. It was a nice ceremony. Afterwards we took some pictures outside and I went to work. Joyce took Julia to Haywards Ice Cream stand as a small celebration for the day. |
