The traditions seem to remain the same. The participants just get older.
Bradford came up the 23rd and stayed with us until the 28th. Heather
came the 24th and also stayed until the 28th. It was quite different this year because Phillip was gone. He is serving a full time mission for the Mormon Church. His visa for Brazil still hasn't come through, so he is on temporary assignment in Midland, Texas. With both Phillip and Stanford gone it felt somewhat empty. However, we enjoyed being with each other and sharing the day. Bradford's girlfriend Amy came over in the evening. Phillip's girlfriend Rachel came over in the afternoon to be here when Phillip called. |
