Day 30: Today was the biggest effort on the office moving project. I turned off everything in the
basement and moved things one by one from the basement to the new office. The exisiting setup
had grown over the years and gotten very messy from a wiring point of view. It took time to
label some things and then take it all apart. It took even longer putting it all back together.
Moving the desk was an interesting part. I had to take the legs off. It took a lot longer
wiring everything back up. I carefully coiled up extra wire and used twist ties in an attempt
to keep everything neat. In a few months I'm going to have to empty the whole room when it
gets painted and the floor is refinished. Today was my first experiment recording with three cameras, the time lapse camera and two old cell phone cameras. It kind of worked. I'll get better at it as I get more experience. The batteries in the cell phones ran down. I need external battery packs for them. |
