Day 57: The old bulkhead door was removed today. Rich and Phil cut the concrete and then
broke it down with a sledge hammer. Later Rich put up a tarp in case it rained. Also today the electricians moved the outdoor outlet around the corner to the wall where the porch for the new entry is located. Only the time lapse video was used today. The North Camera has the best view of the whole bulkhead door removal. The framers are starting their work this Wednesday. We're still heavily occupied boxing up and emptying 70% of the house getting ready for when the roof comes of around July 3rd. Thankfully the framers are about a week behind the previously expected start date. That has given us welcome relief to get everything done. It takes a LOT of time to move everything having lived in the house for 38 years! |
