On Day 71 of the project, while the framing crew was working outside,
Phil and Dillon were doing demolition of the kitchen and living room.
They removed the ceilings and insulation from both rooms and sheetrock
from the wall in between. They also removed a small closet in the
kitchen. All this is to get ready to remove the roof and put in the new
one. The electrician will come Wednesday to rework the wiring. This time lapse video just gives a flavor for the work involved. There is still more demolition to do. All the cabinets and sink will be removed soon. We need a plumber because the shutoff valves aren't turning all the way off. 50 year old plumbing always causes problems. |
