Day 73. Today most of the kitchen demolition was completed. The plumbers came and
sealed the water lines that were going into the kitchen. They also removed the cast
iron vent pipe going through the roof. They temporarily put in a vent in the hallway
closet. Eventually that will go out the roof, but in a different place. Once the plumbing work was done then Rich was able to remove the remaining kitchen cabinets. We saved that faucet. Fortunately I had kept the installation tool from 2013 when I installed the faucet. It was in a bag with all my plumbing supplies. It only took me 2 minutes to find it. The plumbers used that to remove the faucet. |
