Day 81: This is day 12 of the framing effort. The plywood roof on the sun room was installed.
The clipped ceilings in the sun room and the living room were framed in. The missing step at
the bottom of the new bulkhead stairs was poured today. It has been open to dirt since it was
installed back on May 17th (day 19). The last two nights we have had minor flooding in the
basement. The water and mud would rise in the space of this missing step. It resulted in some
messy cleanup. We're hoping having the step in place will greatly alleviate this situation. Rich suggested going with a clipped ceiling instead of a flat ceiling. We agreed. There is one still picture of the ceiling. I was actually at work today so didn't have any cameras set up inside to capture this work. |
