Day 83: The framing crew worked on a Saturday trying to get things wrapped up.
They built the front porch and its roof. Unfortunately there are problems. The
12 foot LVL beam across the front of the porch is too low. It's so low that a
storm door on the front door won't be able to open. Also, they deviated from the
build prints and put in 4 columns across the porch. These problems were reported,
but Rich already had a fix in the works. The problems all got resolved on July 22nd. |
