Day 85: Framing is complete! Travis and his crew from T C Construction & Home Improvements LLC have done a magnificent job. Their attention to detail
has been impressive. The problems encountered with the front porch were resolved today.
The 12 foot LVL beam over the front porch was raised 12 inches. This allowed the front door
to have a storm door. It also allowed the front porch roof to have a flat ceiling. Rich, Kevin and Dillon started the roofing effort beginning with the existing roof on the north end of the house. It was a relief to make that area water tight again. Eversource came in the morning to move the power line from the house to the temporary. Arnold Electric was here to do their part getting power back into the house. Power was only out for about 45 minutes. |
