Day 94: This felt like an important day in the project. The old basement stairs
were removed. The opening in the old kitchen floor was cut for the new basement
stairs. Rich made a stair stringer and verified it was correct, then made three
more. We had no stairs the rest of the day. We had to use the bulkhead stairs to
get access to the basement or use the ladder that they left in place over night.
Rich will finish roughing in the stairs tomorrow and we'll be able to use them
to get into the basement. I brought both time lapse cameras inside the house to capture this effort. One camera looks down from the ceiling. The second camera is in the basement to capture it from that perspective. I also used a cell phone camera. |
