Day 109: The sun room exterior door was installed today. Final shimming was also
done on the front door and the garage side door. Work was done on the front porch
deck. The day was cut short due to a sudden storm that dumped a ton of water.
The garage car door was boarded over with plywood. For the first time the interior
of the house was left open, no temporary plywood walls. Glen the concrete cutter came back today and cut two 12 inch holes in the old foundation. These holes are where the HVAC will go through to the addition. Concrete cutting is messy hard work. Glen is in his 70s and has been doing this kind of work since he was about 16 years old. |
