Day 113: The new living room bay window was installed today! Another milestone.
The front door was removed. The old window was removed. The wall was reworked
to rough in the bay window centered under the peak of the gable. It looks great!
The window isn't centered in the living room wall, but that was done on purpose.
We want it to look good from the outside. Inside the space to the left of the
window is where the big screen TV will be mounted on the wall. The crew from Arnold Greene Electric arrived this morning and started the multi day effort of wiring the house. Yesterday Joyce and I did a walk through of the house and put PostIt notes up everywhere indicating where switches and outlets go. Today I did that walk through with Arnold. It was very helpful to have all those PostIts already in place. There were a few tweaks. |
