Day 115: Phil and Kevin took a jack hammer to the old concrete front porch. They were
hoping it was hollow, but it wasn't. It was solid concrete all the way through. It's
gone now. The foundation behind it is very black and needs a power wash. After the porch demolition was done Rich and Kevin started in on some siding. They finished the north end and made some progress on the west side of the house. Rich wants to get the street facing side done right away so that the house looks like a house again instead of a cabin. It's going to look great. The electricians continued working inside the addition. They worked mostly on the entry way and garage today. Arnold designed ceiling light layout in the addition and got most of the plates installed for the wafer LED lights. |
