Day 145: We have walls! On Sept 20th of the home renovation project
the drywall hangers finished their work doing the garage last. We
have a garage! In the afternoon when Rich and Kevin were just finishing cleaning
up after the drywall installation the mud crew showed up early unexpectedly.
They were able to make a first pass through the house installing the metal corner beads,
sealing seams with tape, and covering up drywall screw heads. They work fast! They'll
be back several days next week because the mud has to dry before they can add
other layers. Rich is hoping to have the whole project finished before Thanksgiving.
There is a lot still to do! |
