2024 10 04 - Installing kitchen cabinets - Window and door trim started

Day 159: On Oct 4th of the home renovation project about 2/3 of the kitchen cabinets were installed! Rich and Phil did excellent and careful work making sure everything is level and plumb. One more day will finish the cabinet installation.

Kevin started isntalling the shims in the windows preparatory to installing the trim. Each window has to be measured at 8 points and custom shims cut and installed so that the trim lines up with the frame of the window. It is slow work and requires careful attention to detail.
