Day 170: On Oct 15th of the home renovation project more electrical
work was done. Mason installed both ceiling fans. They look nice.
Jeremy got all the under cabinet lighting installed in the kitchen.
The lighting is interesting stuff. The LEDs run on 12 VDC. A power supply
was put in the sink cabinet. The LEDs are on a strip that is cut to
length and then connected to low voltage wiring that was put in place
before the drywall went on. I really like how it lights up the space. While this was going on Phil removed all the old insulation in the old attic above the bedrooms, a messy job. Spray foam insulation will be applied tomorrow in both attics. |
