Day 176: On Oct 21st of the home renovation project I finished putting
the floor back in the old attic. Early in the project I had to remove
everything from the attic including the floor. The new roof line has
taken half the attic away, but the project has provided a large crawl
space storage area and new attic storage above the garage and kitchen.
The old attic is for Joyce's "stash", and she has a lot! I was able to
cover up almost all the wiring and spray foam insulation. I had to work
around the new vent pipe, but all in all it is very usable storage for
Joyce to have above her Room of Requirement. Today Rich, Phil and Kevin did lots of smaller tasks getting ready to install the floor. The electricians all came in the afternoon finishing up some odds and ends such as making the doorbell work (ding dong!) |
