Day 250: On Jan 3rd of the home improvement project I reworked the
electrical wiring where my workbench will be located. Nothing much
has been done on the home improvement project since day 238 when the dishwasher was
installed. Instead we have been very busy with Christmas and New
Year's. The house has been wonderful to enjoy over the holidays.
However, it's now time to get back into the project. This phase of the project will be to finish the basement. Two areas won't need to be touched, the bathroom and the storage area. This makes up about 30% of the basement. To finish the other 70% we need to empty it out. The first step will be to move my workbench from its current location in the basement to its new spot in the storage area where the washer and dryer used to be. The old electrical wiring needs to be completely changed in order to support the needs of the workbench. Today I got all the wiring done. I work much more slowly than an electrical contractor, but my labor is free and I repurposed all the old hardware making that free too. |
