Day 272: Jan 25th of the home improvement project was a Saturday.
I finished installing all the IT equipment in the 19" rack and
cleaned up the wiring. It's nice to have it all organized. When
the home improvement project is all done there will be 25 Cat 6
Ethernet lines and RJ-45 outlets in the house. It all comes into
this IT cabinet where I have a 24 port Netgear Ethernet switch. The electricians need access behind the workbench to clean up the wiring there. That meant moving the workbench again. I thought once I moved it to its new location on Jan 4th that I'd never have to move it again. I was wrong. I moved it out of the way today. It will all get put back on Monday after they finish cleaning up my wiring from Jan 3rd. One more day of electrical will get everything ready for insulation. |
